The AI gap isn't closing. It's widening every quarter.
PwC’s 2026 AI Performance Study mapped 1,217 senior executives across 25 sectors against a single question: who is actually capturing financial returns from AI?

Companies with integrated AI grow 4× faster.
Grant Thornton surveyed 950 senior leaders across ten industries. The pattern is now structural: organisations with fully integrated AI grow revenue at 58%, roughly four times the 15% of laggards. Yet 78% of executives admit they could not pass an independent AI governance audit in the next 90 days. Grant Thornton calls this the “AI proof gap”: scaling AI faster than the ability to explain, measure or defend it.

Class Details
What you will learn:
The program is built around how senior leaders actually learn: short, focused teaching sessions delivered live, plus take-away templates, cheat sheets and working AI agents you can put to use straight away. From Wednesday, 2 September 2026 through the certification test on Wednesday, 25 November 2026, you spend one live hour each week learning directly from Marius.
The live sessions are teaching-led, not workshops. For leaders who want interaction, feedback, and help applying the material to their own business, two optional upgrades unlock it: weekly group coaching (every Thursday, 7 PM-8 PM, Swiss Time), with Marius and a small circle of peers, and monthly 1:1 sessions for personalised feedback on your own AI initiatives.
You’ll move from understanding how AI thinks, to writing prompts that perform reliably, to building working AI agents on real business workflows. Then you’ll turn those skills outward: AI-assisted board presentations, strategic research and decision memos, and, by week twelve, a complete AI maturity assessment of your organisation with a prioritised plan of action.
Everything is recorded, published the same evening, and yours to keep. Each module ships with a reusable prompt library and ready-to-use templates. By the time the cohort ends, you have a working personal toolkit, not just notes.

The Program
Module 01 · Weeks 1–4
Build Your AI Competencies
Four weeks that take you from simple AI usage to using it confidently and sophisticatedly in everyday work. We start with a live demo of two real agents in week 1, then decompose them so you understand exactly what is happening.
Your First AI Agents: Live Demo and Build
MODULE 01 · WEEk 1
Before any theory, we start with a live build where you will see two concrete examples: an Expense Report Generator that reads receipts and produces a filled Excel file automatically according to your template, and a Competitive Intelligence Agent that tracks your competitors online and delivers a weekly digest to your inbox. In the following weeks, we will decompose this first session into its building blocks, so you truly understand what is happening and can build similar agents yourself.
What you will learn
- What an AI agent is and what makes it different from a simple AI chat
- The three types of AI agents: Prompt-based, Task-based, and Autonomous
- How each type works under the hood and when to use which
- What is possible today, without writing a single line of code
Your take-aways
- A clear understanding of the AI agent types and their capabilities
- Ready-to-use template for the Expense Report Generator agent
- Ready-to-use template for the Competitive Intelligence Monitoring Agent
How AI Works - and How to Use It Privately and Securely
MODULE 01 · Week 2
The mental model every leader needs before going further. How large language models actually work, explained in plain language without technical jargon. Context windows explained, including what should and should not go into them. Why AI is inherently random and what that means in practice. We also address one of the biggest questions executives ask: what are the options for private, confidential, and locally-run AI that never sends your data outside your computer.
What you will learn
- How AI actually generates its responses, in plain language
- What a context window is, why it matters, and what data should never go into it
- Why AI behaves differently each time, and how to work with that
- Private, confidential, and locally-run AI: the options every executive should know about
Your take-aways
- A one-page visual of how large language models work
- A comparison of private and confidential AI options for your organization
The ABC of Talking to AI - Prompt Engineering Foundations
MODULE 01 · WEEK 3
Sometimes people get mediocre results from AI because they talk to it the way they would type a Google search. This session changes that. You will see how small changes in the way you phrase a request produce dramatically better outputs, and walk away with a practical toolkit of techniques you can apply the very next day. All demonstrated with real business scenarios: drafting professional emails, summarizing reports, and extracting structured data from messy documents.
What you will learn
- Why some AI prompts fail and how to fix them immediately
- The essential techniques from Microsoft, Anthropic, OpenAI and Google for effective prompting
- How to write prompts that produce precise, usable outputs
- How to get consistent results across different tasks and contexts
Your take-aways
- The 1-page AI Cheat Sheet covering all core prompt techniques
- A ready-to-use prompt template collection for the most common business scenarios
Advanced Prompting. Delegating Work to AI
MODULE 01 · WEEK 4
This session teaches you how to treat AI as a team of specialists: a Junior colleague for quick drafts, a Senior adviser for strategic thinking, a Researcher for deep analysis. You will learn markdown-based prompting techniques that give AI precise, structured instructions, the same approach used to program AI agents. We close with the DALIA model, a framework for self-disclosure when using AI in your work, and how your prompting adapts depending on how much of the final output AI is responsible for.
What you will learn
- How to delegate complex, multi-step work to various AI colleagues (junior, senior, researcher)
- Markdown prompting techniques that give AI precise instructions and prepare you for building agents
- Powerful AI capabilities: Researcher, Critique, Model Council, and Computer use
- The DALIA model: how to disclose AI involvement in your work and adapt your approach accordingly
Your take-aways
- A markdown cheat sheet for writing precise, structured AI instructions
- The DALIA self-disclosure framework for your team
Module 02 · Weeks 5–8
Accelerate Your Work with AI
Once you are fluent, you apply that fluency to where it pays the highest dividend on an executive’s calendar: strategy, email, financial analysis, and building rapid prototypes without waiting for IT.
AI for Strategic Work — Analysis, Research, and Decision Support
MODULE 02· Week 5
Strategy work is where AI delivers some of its most impressive results. You will see a full strategy project run with AI from start to finish: company research, market needs analysis, evaluating strategic options, and producing a final decision memo. The focus is on using AI to interrogate information and structure your thinking, not just summarize documents. Demonstrated with real examples using Deep Research mode and document analysis.
What you will learn
- How to run a complete strategy research project with AI in a fraction of the usual time
- How to use AI to challenge assumptions and stress-test strategic options
- How to extract insight from documents rather than just summaries
- How Deep Research mode works and when to use it for high-stakes decisions
Your take-aways
- A ready-to-use prompt sequence for running a strategy research project with AI
- A prompt template for competitive intelligence analysis
AI for Email, Communication, and Daily Work
MODULE 02 · Week 6
Email is where most business leaders lose hours every week. You will see how AI can sort, filter, and prioritize your inbox, resurface important messages you missed, point out messages from your superiors or clients, extract action items, and draft replies – all without you having to touch every message individually. We will map the most common email pain points leaders face and show a practical AI solution for each one.
What you will learn
- How AI can take over the repetitive, low-value parts of email management
- How to set up an AI email assistant that works with your existing inbox
- How to extract action items and priorities from long email threads automatically
- What to share with your IT team to get started quickly
Your take-aways
- A ready-to-use prompt template for AI-assisted email management
- A one-page setup guide to share with your IT team
AI for Financial Analysis, Reporting, and Presentations
MODULE 02 · Week 7
Financial reporting and presentations consume a disproportionate amount of leadership time. You will see how AI can handle the heavy lifting of data preparation and reporting, so you can spend more time on actual analysis and decisions. We then walk through the full workflow from raw Excel data to a polished executive presentation.
What you will learn
- How to use AI for financial analysis and forecasting without any coding knowledge
- How to turn a spreadsheet into a structured narrative and executive presentation with AI
- How to automate the most time-consuming parts of your reporting cycle
- Showcase: How you can chat with your KPI dashboard and get timely and precise answers
Your take-aways
- A prompt template for AI-assisted financial analysis and forecasting
- A step-by-step workflow guide from Excel data to board-ready presentation
Build a Proof of Concept Without Involving IT
MODULE 02 · Week 8
One of the biggest bottlenecks in AI adoption is waiting for IT. You will see how to translate a business problem into a working prototype in days, not months, using AI-powered no-code builders. We walk through a live demo of a simple internal tool being built end to end, and cover what to prepare before handing off to IT for a proper implementation.
What you will learn
- How to turn a business problem into a simple, testable prototype without technical skills
- How to design internal tools and lightweight workflows using AI builders
- How to iterate and improve a solution without relying on a development team
- What to prepare to make the handoff to IT smooth and fast
Your take-aways
- A step-by-step guide for scoping and building an AI proof of concept
- A handoff checklist to prepare your prototype for IT implementation
Module 03 · Weeks 9–12
Lead AI Adoption in Your Organization
From personal productivity to organizational transformation. Reusable AI skills your team can run consistently, autonomous agents that take entire workflows off your team’s plate, and a maturity assessment to decide where to invest next.
Creating Reusable AI Skills for Your Team
MODULE 03· Week 9
Getting value from AI individually is one thing. Getting your whole team to use it consistently is another. An AI Skill is like a Standard Operating Procedure for AI: a structured set of instructions that anyone on your team can run to get a consistent, high-quality output every time. You will see two concrete examples built live: an AI Skill for creating a sales proposal based on your pricing and notes from a client meeting, and one for turning Excel files into branded PowerPoint presentations.
What you will learn
- What an AI Skill is and how it works as an SOP for AI
- Why AI Skills produce consistent outputs regardless of who runs them
- How to identify which tasks in your work are worth turning into an AI Skill
- How collaboration with AI through specialized Skills will shape future roles
Your take-aways
- Two ready-to-use AI Skills: a sales proposal generator and an Excel to PowerPoint converter
- A checklist for what makes a good AI Skill.
AI Agents for Compliance and Document Management
MODULE 03 · Week 10
Compliance work is time-consuming, high-stakes, and largely repetitive, which makes it a perfect fit for AI agents. You will see three agents in action: a Regulatory Compliance Monitoring Agent that scans selected sources for regulatory changes and delivers a structured weekly digest to the right team, a Compliance Concierge Bot that answers compliance questions in plain language based on your own documents, and a Document Filing Agent that monitors an inbox for incoming attachments and routes each one to the correct SharePoint folder automatically.
What you will learn
- How an autonomous monitoring agent keeps your team ahead of regulatory changes
- How a prompt-based Compliance Concierge Bot works and how to build one on your existing documents
- How to eliminate manual document filing with an email-to-SharePoint agent
- How to choose the right agent type for each compliance and operations challenge
Your take-aways
- Ready-to-use template for the Regulatory Compliance Monitoring Agent
- Ready-to-use template for the Compliance Concierge Bot
- Ready-to-use template for the Document Filing Agent
AI Agents for Marketing and External Communications
MODULE 03 · Week 11
Your organization’s external voice requires a constant stream of content: thought leadership posts, client success stories, industry commentary. Two agents that take most of that work off the table: a LinkedIn Publishing Agent that monitors industry news and auto-drafts posts for one-click review and publishing, and a Case Studies Generator that takes your notes, client quotes, and project results and produces a structured, ready-to-publish case study.
What you will learn
- How a LinkedIn Publishing Agent keeps you visible without the manual effort
- How to automate case study creation from raw client notes and project outcomes
- How to maintain a consistent external communications presence with minimal time investment
- How to identify which marketing tasks in your organization are worth automating with AI
Your take-aways
- Ready-to-use template for the Compliance Concierge Bot
- Ready-to-use template for the Case Studies Generator
- Ready-to-use template for the Document Filing Agent
AI Maturity Assessment and Your 90-Day Roadmap
MODULE 03 · Week 12
The final session zooms out from individual tools and agents to the bigger picture: where does your organization stand on AI today, and what does the path forward look like? We present the Metrix AI Maturity Model across five dimensions: People AI Fluency, Use-Case Portfolio, AI Culture and Enablement, Data and Process Intelligence, and Governance and Trust. For each dimension, we show what moving up a level actually requires in practice. We close with a framework for prioritizing your next AI initiatives, measuring their impact, and building the internal case for continued investment.

Frequently Asked Questions
01 When exactly does the program run?
Wednesday 2 September 2026 through Wednesday 25 November 2026. Thirteen consecutive Wednesdays: twelve teaching sessions plus the final certification test on the thirteenth Wednesday. Sessions run 19:00–20:00 Swiss time (Zurich). Switzerland switches from summer to winter time on 25 October 2026, so most participants will see their local clock time stay consistent; check your timezone if you're outside Europe.
02 How much time do I need to invest each week?
One hour live, every Wednesday evening. Plan for an optional 30–60 minutes per week if you want to try the take-aways (agents, prompt templates, cheat sheets) on your own work. There is no required homework, no graded assignments between sessions, and no mandatory pre-reading.
03 Do I need to take time off work?
No. The program is designed for working executives. All sessions are evenings (19:00 Swiss time), all sessions are live, via Zoom. They are also recorded, and there are no in-person dates, no travel, and no daytime commitments.
04 What if I miss a live session?
Every session is recorded and uploaded the next day. Recordings stay available for the full duration of the programme and remain yours to keep. You can complete the certification test on your own schedule during the week of 25 November 2026.
05 Do I need to know Python, code, or any LLM internals?
No. The programme is for non-technical leaders. The whole course is taught through tools you already use. If you can write a structured email, you have all the technical skill required.
06 Is this actually about AI, or is it a management/strategy course in disguise?
It's about AI, with a leadership lens. The first two modules (eight weeks) are AI put to work: learning how to build AI agents, prompt engineering, AI for daily work, AI for financial analysis, AI for proofs-of-concept. The third module (four weeks) covers leading AI adoption in your organisation: compliance, marketing applications, an AI maturity assessment, and a 90-day roadmap. It is not a generic strategy, MBA, or project management course.
07 What will I actually be able to do after the course?
Three concrete outcomes for every participant, regardless of tier:
- Use 7+ ready-to-use AI agents and Skills (expense reports, competitive intelligence, regulatory monitoring, LinkedIn publishing, case studies generator, document filing, and more), or build new ones from the templates.
- Apply a complete prompt engineering toolkit (14 techniques drawn from Microsoft, Anthropic, OpenAI, and Google).
- Walk into a board meeting with a budgeted 90-day AI maturity roadmap for your team, assessed across five dimensions (People Fluency, Use-Case Portfolio, Culture, Data & Process, Governance).
You also receive an AI Leaders certificate on passing the Week 13 test, ready to add to LinkedIn, your CV, and your performance review.
08 Who teaches the course?
Marius Vetrici, PhD. 25 years of professional experience, founded five companies, and holds a PhD in IT Project Management. He is currently delivering AI programmes at IMD Alumni Clubs (Lausanne, Geneva, London), IMD Tech Community, UEFA Academy Master Programmes, HSLU Luzern, AI Days Conference (HES-SO), and FONGIT Geneva. He is a working AI practitioner who builds agents and integrations for clients every week, not an academic. 340+ Swiss executives have already gone through his AI programmes.
09 What's the difference between Foundation, Practitioner, and Strategic?
All three tiers include the full course: 12 live sessions, the Week 13 test, full recordings, all AI agent templates, all cheat sheets and frameworks, the private WhatsApp community, and the AI Leaders certificate.
The optional upgrades:
- Practitioner (adds): a weekly 1-hour group coaching call with Marius, with peer feedback on your real work.
- Strategic (adds, on top of Practitioner): a monthly 1:1 with Marius, personalised feedback on your AI initiatives, and a direct line to him for urgent decisions.
If you want a teaching-only experience and plan to apply the material on your own, Foundation is enough. If you want Marius's eyes on what you're building, choose Practitioner or Strategic.
10 Is there a community? Does it continue after the course ends?
Yes. All participants (Foundation, Practitioner, and Strategic) join a private WhatsApp community of senior leaders from known organisations on September 1st. The community stays open after the programme ends. You can keep trading prompts, sharing agents, and asking questions of peers indefinitely.
11 How much does it cost? Can my company pay?
Three tiers, Early Bird pricing closes 31 July 2026:
| Tier | Regular | Early Bird (before 31 July) |
|---|---|---|
| Foundation | CHF 1,497 | CHF 1,197 |
| Practitioner | CHF 1,997 | CHF 1,597 |
| Strategic | CHF 3,497 | CHF 2,797 |
All payments are one-time, in CHF, processed by Stripe with 3D Secure. Yes, your company can pay. The checkout collects the company name and VAT number, and you receive a PDF invoice automatically.
12 What if it's not what I expected?
A full refund is available if you cancel within the first two weeks of the program, by Wednesday, 16 September 2026. Email hello@vetrici.com with no need to justify, and your payment is returned in full.
13 What guarantees do you offer?
Three layers of confidence:
- Proven in the room. The content in this programme has been delivered and refined through AI sessions at IMD Alumni Clubs in Lausanne, Geneva, and London, the IMD Tech Community, UEFA Academy master programmes and Swiss Board Forum. The feedback has been consistently strong. These aren't untested slides; they're frameworks that senior executives have used and validated.
- 14-day money-back guarantee. If you join and decide for any reason that this isn't right for you, email hello@vetrici.com within the first two weeks, and you get a full refund. No questions asked, no hoops to jump through.
- You keep everything you've downloaded. Agent templates, cheat sheets, the DALIA model, the Metrix framework — anything you've already saved is yours to keep, regardless.
